Credit Funds Under Management: The principals of US Capital Global Investment Management, LLC manage several credit and equity funds. For example, US Capital/Noble Capital Texas Real Estate Income Fund, LP invests in short-term residential remodel and resell loans to established contractors, generally with a hold of less than 12 months. US Capital Business Credit Income Fund, LP makes senior term loans for growth to businesses with strong cash flow. The term of these loans is typically 24 to 48 months.
Equity Funds Under Management: US Capital Global Investment Management, LLC manages several private equity funds and special purpose vehicles (SPVs), such as USCIM Fund XXII Provia Labs LLC. These single-purpose vehicles are designed for investment opportunities syndicated among a number of investors and institutions. They hold various preferred, common, or convertible note positions in early growth or late-stage growth companies in a variety of sectors, such as FinTech, MedTech, hospitality, SaaS, manufacturing, and distribution companies. We employ both buy-and-hold strategies as well as amortizing structures, in order to achieve liquidity for investors.
New Fund Management Opportunities: Both emerging and seasoned strategy management teams will typically look for ways to raise capital from friends and family investors. However, there are usually limits to the amount of capital that can be raised that way. Often the opportunities to grow the strategy are robust, but growth is constrained by either the distraction of fundraising, the need for third-party due diligence, or the limited investor resources available. High regulatory standards can also play a role in restricting successful teams from finding sufficient funds for growth.
